California State Recreation Area

Salton Sea State Recreation Area covers 14 miles of the northeastern shore of the Salton Sea and has long been a popular site for campers, hikers, boaters, wildlife viewing and anglers.

Day use and boat launch fees required.

RV hookups are available.
"New Camp" has campsites, restrooms and showers.

Dogs

Dogs

No pets are allowed on the beach. Animals must be kept on a six-foot leash, and in a vehicle or tent at night.

Fishing

Fishing

Tiapia are the only fish that remain in the salty sea.
