The Lower Borrego Valley is full of sandy washes and "dry" lake beds that often become large puddles after a rain.

Camping is open throughout the area. Park your vehicle or set up camp in previously disturbed sites.
Pet are allowed and must be under your control at all times. Dogs off leash are frequently lost as a result of being frightened by the loud motor vehicles and/or illegal fireworks. I recommend putting a glow stick or LED headlight on your dog at night so that they can be easily spotted.
Street legal are vehicles permitted on designated routes.
Off-road vehicles permitted on designated routes.

Clay pigeons are discouraged as they're difficult for the user to clean up all debris.
