There are 2 boat ramps in the main camping area. Fishing license is required. Black bass, channel and flathead catfish, striped bass and bluegill are common.

There are hiking trails within the park as well as in the surrounding BLM land.

Motor vehicles in the park must be highway legal. The surrounding BLM land permits OHV use.
