Bureau of Land Management - OHV Area

Approximately 31 miles of trails designed for motorcycles. Trails are limited to vehicles 40" wide or less. ATVs might experience difficulty on the narrow trails.

Located in McCain Valley Resource Conservation Area.

Camping

15 developed campsites are available year-round. Fire rings, tables, water (not tested safe for drinking), and six vault toilets are found in the campground. Group camping sites are available.

Camping is limited to 14 days within a 28 day period. All camping in McCain Valley must be in a designated campsite. Please bring your own firewood, as firewood is scarce. A campfire permit may be required. Contact CalFire for current regulations.

Open to green and red sticker off-road vehicles.
Red Sticker Season: October 1 - April 30

Vehicles must remain on designated routes. Cross-country travel is prohibited.

Trail Finder Detail

The GPS map progressively increases detail as you zoom in to prevent information overload.

Trail Finder maps are a subset of the GPS map. Trail Finder maps of large regions do not include the lowest zoom levels. In most cases, the GPS map has two more layers of detail than the Trail Finder maps.
