A privately owned nature preserve that is open to the public for picnicking, bird watching and trail use. The middle school parking lot can be used when school is not in session.
There are several parcels of private property adjacent to the nature preserve that are used by the public to access Wright's Field. Street parking is available on South Grade Road near Calle de Compadres.
