Two developed campgrounds are available. Reservations are required. Camping on the beach is available at Oceano Dunes to the south.

Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet and under your immediate control at all times. They must be confined to a vehicle or tent at night.

Hiking is permitted throughout the park.

Street legal vehicles are permitted on the beach. Pismo Beach is used to access Oceano Dunes SVRA to the south.
