Mild trails around the lake. Terri Peak Trail is more strenuous but use is limited to hiking. City trails can be access from the park.

Horseback riding is permitted on designated trails.
There is a horse staging area inside of the park. Alternatively, the Rancho Verde Equestrian Station is at the intersection of Lasselle St and Kentucky Derby Dr.
Lake Perris is known for excellent
largemouth bass fishing. The lake also has
catfish, crappie, carp, and trophy-sized
bluegill and redear sunfish. Rainbow trout
are stocked fall through spring.
Hiking is permitted on designated trails.
There are seven primitive horse camping sites.
Mountain biking is permitted on designated trails.
